06/23/2010 - Flushing, NY (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - R.A. Dickey tossed eight scoreless innings en route to improving his career-high winning streak to six games, as the red-hot New York Mets handled the Detroit Tigers, 5-0, in the second test of a three- game set at Citi Field.

Dickey (6-0) gave up just four hits to become the first Mets starter to win his first six decisions with the team. The 35-year-old knuckleballer also fanned four batters and walked two.

Jose Reyes went 3-for-4 and finished a double shy of the cycle for New York, which has won two in a row and 14 of its past 17 games. Ike Davis knocked in two runs.

Jeremy Bonderman (3-5) went six-plus innings, allowing four runs on seven hits to take the loss. The right-hander fell to 1-3 in the month of June for the Tigers, who have lost three of four since a seven-game winning streak.

The Tigers loaded the bases with two outs in the top of the first on a pair of walks and an single. Dickey, though, got out of the jam by retiring Carlos Guillen on a grounder to second.

New York also had a chance to score in the bottom half of the frame. Reyes was left stranded after starting the inning with a triple.

After Detroit left a runner on third in the top of the third, the Mets plated the first run of the game in the bottom half. Reyes hit a two-out single, stole second, and crossed the plate on David Wright's double down the left- field line.

Reyes made it a 2-0 contest with a solo homer to right in the fifth.

New York added three runs in the seventh to build a 5-0 margin. With the bases loaded and nobody out, Reyes stepped to the plate needing a double to complete the cycle. However, he hit a grounder to second baseman Guillen, who threw home for the force out. Pinch-hitter Jesus Feliciano plated a run with a groundout. Davis added a two-run single two batters later.

Francisco Rodriguez tossed a scoreless ninth to seal the win for the Mets.

MySportsbook.com favors Bears, Bengals, Chargers and Colts to remain perfect

LAS VEGAS , Sept. 28 - Two big match-ups of undefeated teams have fans salivating at the Week Four schedule in the NFL. The Chicago Bears stifling defense looks to provide a less than hospitable welcome to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday night in a battle of two 3-0 teams in the NFC conference. In the AFC, the San Diego Chargers (2-0) head to Maryland to face the surprising Baltimore Ravens (3-0) as both try to keep pace atop the conference standings. Betting Lines makers at MySportsbook.com, online sportsbook and casino, have set the Bears as 3.5 point favorites while the Chargers are a 2.5 point bet.

Of the three remaining undefeated teams, only one, New Orleans, enters this week's game as an underdog. Despite an emotional and resounding win over Atlanta on Monday night, the Saints are a 7.5 point underdog against the struggling Carolina Panthers. Indianapolis looks to stay perfect when they face the New York Jets as a 9 point road favorite while the Cincinnati Bengals are a 6 point favorite at home to the New England Patriots.

Six teams enter the week still looking for their first win, with a seventh, Tampa Bay, on a bye week. The prospect of dropping another game would not bode well for a potential playoff run. Since 1990, just three teams -- the 1992 Chargers, 1995 Detroit Lions and 1998 Buffalo Bills -- have overcome losing their first three games of the season to earn a postseason berth. And only the Chargers managed to accomplish the feat after starting 0-4.

The Wings will look to offensive powerhouse Pavel Datsyuk and newly appointed captain Nicklas Lidstrom to lead one of the league's most prominent franchises.

Always a threat are the Ottawa Senators, with newly acquired goaltender Martin Gerber from the Stanley Cup champion ,Carolina Hurricanes. The Sens are second best in the rankings at a 7-1 bet, and odds makers at this sportsbook are optimistic that the Ottawa squad will fare better than last season's Eastern Conference semi-final upset to the Buffalo Sabres.

Also worth noting are the defending Stanley Cup champs Carolina Hurricanes, a 10-1 bet to repeat. Behind the Canes are the New Jersey Devils, Calgary Flames, Buffalo Sabres, Philadelphia Flyers, and Anaheim Mighty Ducks all sit at 12-1.
